Here’s a short video of why you should NOT ship important things via USPS.
As many of you know, I recently sold the Portal Gun on eBay, well I shipped it USPS and it arrived broken. Yes it was insured, but the buyer doesn’t want it now so I’m going to fix it up.
I packaged it very professionally, there was enough packaging in the box to secure medical equipment so I thought it would be good for USPS… Nope. It had “Fragile” stickers all over the box and I payed about 85 bucks for shipping thinking it would be safe. Nope!
Claim Submitted today 6/11/11 and hopefully I will get the gun back and $500! Repair it and sell it again…
I will now only ship with FedEx! I DO NOT recommend USPS to anyone now, and I think I will start a boycott. Image may be NSFW.
